OK, hands up. Who saw Metal Scourge coming?
After doing a metal Sonic I simply had to do a little Metal Scourge animation. I find it hilarious that a doppelganger can have a doppelganger of himself so I instantly became attached to this metal character. He is a menace and a running joke all in one after all!
I am doing these animations for practice so I got to experiment with a new “wipe” mechanic. Not a bad way to go but I think I will have to tweak it in the future. I will also have to teach myself how to use Flash at some point but I guess I am doing fine in Photoshop for the time being.
He may not be as menacing as his Sonic counterpart (cant really beat red glowing eyes) but he is still cool none the less. Hopefully we see a little more of this guy in the future.
