***This is a Next Level Commission***
I guess is the first time around went well as dropped by again and ordered another lick of paint to another picture drawn by Steven Butler. It’s always a pleasure to help out a friend and working alongside an established artist and one of my personal heroes is simply a bonus.
This image features several characters for a comic being produced by Dragon Blitz Studios, a production company headed by the deviant of the same name. For more intel on the subject, be sure to swing by the company’s very own Facebook page.

Like before this was a strange piece for me to do. Since I am vey capable of creating my own full art pieces, I don’t have a terrible amount of experience coloring other peoples stuff. That creates a few awkward hurdles, but it is simply a speed bump that must be overcome. I do like how this one ended up coming out though. It shines where it needs to, while keeping background elements subtle so they don’t overpower the foreground characters.
Can’t sleep on all that texture work either. The pavement and brick wall play off the other aspects in this image nicely. You don’t notice stuff like that right away, or at all, but it really adds to the quality of the image.
Thanks a bunch to DragonBlitzStudios for repeating my commission process once again. I wish his company the all the best moving forward as I can certainly see bright days on its horizon.
My commissions are open for anybody interested. Just take a peek at my great little Commission Price Chart then send me a note describing what you are interested in.
