Time for another piece of Chapter Art for my buddy

The first thing that jumps out in this image is the amount of characters. That is a good amount of ponies crammed into one scene. This is also my first opportunity to work with Spike. The little dude was pretty easy, but I am still proud I was able to get him to look so good in my first attempt.

As I side note, I don’t get to draw Pinkie Pie all that often, but every time I do she becomes my favorite drawing in the image. Can’t really explain why, but it is starting to become a trend rather than an occurrence.

The setting is Princess Celestia's throne room and it makes for a fitting backdrop. A little bit of lighting emanating from the stained glass is a festive touch that plays well with the reflective floors.

It all merges into a picture that displays a little bit of determination, regality and grit. Good stuff.
