Commission: Manic and Pinkie Pie - Playful

Would you look at that… Two posts, two commissions from Someone’s cornering the market on BroDogz commissions lol.

This time the scene revolves around Manic the Hedgehog and Pinkamina Diane Pie (Yeesh, no wonder they call her Pinkie Pie, that is a mouthful!) The backdrop is that of a hotel room.

First off I have to take note of how much better I am getting at textures. The carpet, the curtains and even the walls have a little bit of extra detail that really helps them to pop. I even got to squeeze my patented wood effect into this image, and you all know how much I love using that. Like the previous pics I have done in this manner it was again a challenge to merge the two differing styles when there is so much character overlap. At the very least I think I am getting better at it as it did not take me quite as long this time around.

I am proud of the pose work I did in this one. I was able to admirably compensate for the height difference and created a more “playful” stance for the two which I think really reflects their respective characters. It also shows off a little bit of depth, which is always nice.

A few special effects here and a smattering of Manic’s clothing articles there and you have another completed commission. Big props to for ordering up yet another commish.
