Comm: Krypto vs Underdog - Dogfight

Looks like we have ourselves another case of the crossovers as has ordered another commission featuring multiple franchises. the subjects this time around are a pair of super-dogs as the mighty Krypto squares off against the one and only Underdog. Looks like shoeshine the beagle never heard the phrase "don't tug on Superman's cape" 

This piece was to be done in comic book style, so I went with a heavy done of shading to go along with a sweet little ink dot effect to help sell the image. The end result is pretty distinctive and allows the characters to jump off the page. The pair of canines are locked in combat high above the streets of Metropolis. I blurred the street level to try an add a touch of depth. Its an interesting effect, but I will have to make sure to use it carefully in the future. You can very easily throw away a good amount of detail work if you are not careful with the depth blur.

This marks my first opportunity at drawing both Krypto and Underdog, so its nice to knock two more characters off of my "never drawn" list.
